Our Services

  • Medical Waste Disposal

All healthcare facilities use a variety of medical instruments, garments, and other materials that have come in contact with human bodily fluids. These biomedical wastes are often referred to as “regulated medical wastes” (RMW). Some examples might include: soiled bandages, used latex gloves, contaminated syringes and sharps, unused medications, or other human waste products. Because bloodborne pathogens can pose a major infectious health risk, government agencies regulate how healthcare providers should store and process this material.

  • Sharps Disposal

Sharps waste can include a variety of instruments. Things like used syringes, operating knives and blades, glass, and generally any tool used to puncture is controlled under similar regulations to traditional medical waste. Sharps waste disposal is particularly at risk of containing and transmitting blood-borne pathogens.

  • Pharmaceutical Waste Disposal

Pharmaceutical waste, sometimes known as “Rx Waste” includes a variety of materials and medications. Both expired and unused medications, whether they have been exposed to a patient or not, also fall under the umbrella of controlled pharmaceutical waste. These materials must be specially treated to neutralize their ingredients and prevent hazardous exposure.
